SkLO works directly with glass masters in the Czech Republic to bring a modern sensibility to the handmade tradition of blown glass. With its cutting edge designs, clean lines, simple forms and an emphasis on materiality, SkLO is a vibrant, modern design brand.

SkLO is a collaboration between Pavel Hanousek, founder of Fusion Z, and husband and wife design team, Karen Gilbert and Paul Pavlak - with Hanousek bringing his intuitive knowledge of his native Czech glassblowing, and Gilbert and Pavlak bringing a multi-disciplinary approach to art and design. SkLO offers cutting edge design with clean lines, simple forms, and an emphasis on materiality.

Sklo is the Czech word for glass. Working directly with glass masters in their studios in the Czech Republic, designers Gilbert and Pavlak bring a modern sensibility to the handmade, hand-blown Czech glass tradition. While remaining rooted in the unique synergy found between the discipline of design and the craft of the Czech glassworks, SkLO is going beyond glass and glassblowing to create a vibrant, modern design brand.
