This Bloodline Original hand-carved sterling silver Sugar Skull Pendant made its way into the line-up in 2016. Pendant Size, 21x30mm.

“Día de Muertos” or “Day of the Dead” is an annual celebration in Mexico that celebrates the lives of loved ones passed. To create skulls for the celebration in the early days, a simple concoction of sugar and water was poured into molds. The resulting sugar skulls were decorated and placed on altars with the names of ancestors on their foreheads.

Following tradition, we at Bloodline wear sugar skulls to celebrate those gone, and as a reminder to live every day well. This little dude looks great on its own or stacked with other Bloodline Pendants.
